Team Manager/Practice Leader for United Response in Penryn.

As a Team Manager you will ensure that the needs of the people we support are met through staffing and environment. You will ensure service aims are achieved and that people we support are fully engaged in the community and are in control and empowered in every aspect of their lives. You will need to encourage and promote best practice throughout your team, mentoring and developing staff teams to support and achieve through planned risks. You should share the values of United Response  and look to continually improve the service to ensure the very highest standards. You will be required to maintain financial and administrative systems and processes and be compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.

As a Practice Leader you will be responsible for supporting one person to enable him to achieve independence as far as possible in all areas of his life and to demonstrate and lead good practice thereby achieving quality support and consistency across the team. You will work as part of a team, getting to know the person we support, whats important to them and how they want to be supported. You will be required to have good communication skills, reading and written along with IT skills. You will be responsible for keeping records up to date and accurate.

This dual role will comprise of 15 hours per week as Team Manager and 22.5 hours per week as a Practice Leader supporting a service at Penryn. 

The salary for this position is £20,073.30 plus sleep in rate

Any additional hours will be paid at £8.15 per hour

A full driving licence is essential for this post.
Previous management experience is required.
