Maintain, install and troubleshoot Fire Alarm, Access Control, Nurse Call, Sound and CCTV Systems. Maintain a customer base or territory at 100% satisfaction rate. Provide detailed feedback to management concerning customer issues. Work effectively with support personnel. Must maintain the proper documentation for work performed.
Must adhere to company safety policies and procedures to ensure all duties are performed in a safe and professional manner.
High school diploma or equivalent. NICET II preferred. Two (2) years directly related experience serving SimplexGrinnell or industry related equipment. Working knowledge of test equipment to include multi-meters, digital analyzers, battery analyzers, frequency meters, decibel meters and communication devices. Ability to set up, program, and test basic TCP/IP networks. Ability to program, test, and certify electronic systems including fire alarm, security, CCTV, and access control systems is preferred. Experience in maintaining job site documentation (example, time sheets, as-built drawings). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities. Proficient in use and application of personal computers including Microsoft Office Suite. A valid driver's license with a good driving record. Must be able to lift equipment and tools up to 40 lbs. and be able to climb ladders and scaffolding. Strong troubleshooting skills.
