Job Title: Project Document Management /Tech Writing

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will report to the PTEC group, providing customers with a combination of support with project management and technical writing. This person will balance the responsibilities of supporting project management by capturing, managing, archiving and delivering information related to Engineering Projects. The successful candidate will also have the tech writing skill and experience to support document management with organizing and completing writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology.

Description:
This position is responsible for all day-to-day Project Engineering Document Management with the Technical Writing skills to support the Records Information Management (RIM) group. Working closely with the RIM group, this position will be responsible for auditing, maintaining, and storing project documents in both paper-based and electronic formats. Other responsibilities include maintaining records and files of work and revisions. This person will also edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other writers or personnel following established standards and reviewing revisions or changes in scope, format, content, and methods of reproduction and publishing.

Job Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of project document management experience and tech writing skills with proficiency in Sharepoint, Microsoft Office 2007, Adobe Acrobat and Filemaker Pro and Livelink. The candidate must be effective in both a team environment and an individual contributor role with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks.

Education:
BS/BA degree desired. Required to have 5-10years of document management and tech writing skills experience will be considered in lieu of BS/BA degree.
