As the Technical Analyst you will be responsible for providing the technical lead in supporting the Outage Management System (OMS) and associated application environments. You will perform the necessary Information Technology tasks to support the operations of the OMS system at peak performance, and will also be required to provide accurate and concise business requirement definitions and maintain quality documentation relating to configuration changes. 
 
You must have :- 
 

• Degree qualifications in Information Technology 
• Competent with Oracle SQL 
• Good business and/or technical knowledge of Electrical Networks 
• Strong analytical and Problem solving skills 
• Solid knowledge and skills in UNIX Scripting 
• Experience in supporting a critical real-time IT system in a large organisation 
• Good Technical writing ability  
• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, IT or a related business discipline 
• Knowledge and skills in C++, Perl, PL/SQL and/or Java 
• Industry Experience in any or all of the following IT Systems: OMS, SCADA, Dispatching Systems, GIS
