Job Description
We are seeking a talented technical analyst with a background in finance for a full-time position to join our fast growing London operation. The successful candidate will work directly with technical and business users to implement, install, configure and customize Quantifi’s advanced software products. The position requires working directly with clients, making communication and interpersonal skills essential. Our clients are based both within the UK and throughout the Europe, Middle East Africa region, so the position will include an opportunity for travel. The role utiltises leading edge technologies such as C#, C++, SQL Server, .Net, Excel and Python. This is an exciting opportunity to work with and learn from senior and experienced financial and technology professionals in a collababorative, entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on execution of software implementations and upgrades
- Support for end users to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve complex issues
- Configure and test software to meet the client’s specifications
- Custom program and script development
- Train end users on the configuration and features of the system
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients
Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum 1 to 3 years experience in the financial or IT industry
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or other technical discipline
- Experience with .NET and programming/scripting languages (C#, C++, Python, and/or Perl)
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Knowledge of finance
- Self motivated and ability to work both independently and under direction
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to travel
