My client is an influential leader in life insurance. They have a global presence throughout Asia and are very determined to become the market leader. With business expansion structurally planned for the coming years, my client is in search for a reliable and driven individual to manage the investment accounting team.
Due to the expansion plans, my client is welcoming an experienced investment accounting expert to join this dynamic team, You will be responsible for daily operation on investment accounting, supporting business targets and working effectively with fund managers. You will also be responsible for analysing investment reports and providing an in-depth commentary to senior management from the group office. Your role will diversify into training and instructing a team of subordinates to drive performance results and deliver high quality reports that will meet with accounting standards.
For this exciting position you will need a solid background in both accounting and insurance, with at least 6 years of commercial experience. You are required to demonstrate confidence in leading your team in producing top-class investment reports. You must have a proven track record in handling non- linked products, with strong communication skills to liaise with local entities to construct effective reports. You will also require keen business sense to drive business performance.
