Technical Business Analyst – Investment Bank – Front office recruitment
My client is a leading global investment bank, who is looking for a very strong Technical Business Analyst around fundamental business functionality. Successful candidate will be responsible for Front office large key deliverables and systems upgrades within the Fixed Income space.
You will be integrating core trading applications and core business functionality. You must have an exceptional track record of large scale projects gained within Investment Banking.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Successful candidate must have the following experience:
- Solid Technical Business Analysis experience gained within an Investment Banking environment
- Strong global markets experience across Fixed Income, Derivatives, Rates, Commodities, FX, MM
- Trading system experience / front office application experience (3rd party or proprietary systems)
- Understanding of process methodologies with project and systems development lifecycle experience
- Ability of own and proactively resolve issues through all phases of the program
- Full SDLC Implementation Experience
- Excellent Business Analysis Skills (requirements elicitation, specifications design, process mapping, validating data, UAT)
- Ability to extract, formulate and document business requirements, utilizing different methods
- Stakeholder Management Capabilities
- Broad Technical Skill Set (Excel VBA, SQL Server, Scripting Skills)
- Bachelor Degree Business (relevant Major), Business Sys/ Computer Science, Economics
You must have strong trading applications experience coupled with Front office financial instruments (FI, Commodities, Derivative, Rates, FX) knowledge to be considered for this opportunity.
- Documentation of processes and procedures
- Validating data ( trading applications and trading workflow)
- Prepare manuals and updates and configuration instructions
- Detailed business requirement documentation such as functional specs, mapping analysis data, gap analysis, process flows and procedures, UAT testing
- Assisting with system integration upgrades, simulations, mapping out tables creating file formats
- Process/system analysis and solution definition - working with developers to define solution in line with business requirements and operating model principles.
- Stakeholder management - working with stakeholders across the Business, IT and vendors to ensure the design meets F2B integrity across end to end business infrastructure.
- Ensuring issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.
- Monitoring and managing the change process.
