Technical Business Analyst required to join a new team within one of the largest Investment Banks as they implement a new global finance accountancy platform including general ledger (GL) and sub-ledger systems. The finance accountancy platform is a new product for the bank and so is constantly being enhanced to take on more asset classes and product combinations. As the Technical Business Analyst you will be involved with Implementation Team and will have the responsibility of analysing current data to determine future processing requirements and data flows.
Additionally as the Technical Business Analyst you will be responsible for performing technical analysis of the new finance accountancy platform and generating data migration requirements detailing strategic changes required in the new system. Essentially the system will be a new core global platform which will standardise and integrate the Product Control and Finance processes for accountancy systems.
To be successful in this role you must have first class data analysis and modelling skills so experience with UML, BPML or similar is essential. The role will require manipulation of large data sets so it is crucial that you feel comfortable with handling and investigation data using SQL, VB or a similar data tool. Additional experience of implementing sub-ledger or accountancy systems through the full project lifecycle will be extremely beneficial.
