Technical Business Analyst / System Analyst (VP / AVP) – Investment Bank recruitment

Responsibilities:

Providing detailed functional systems analysis, performing gap analysis, preparing business requirement specs, functional requirement spec and coordinating acceptance testing
Leading a team, balancing multiple projects and managing relationship with senior stakeholders and various parties including the application teams, off-shore development team, business management, product development team and various front-office trading desks
Capture requirements from business senior IT stakeholders in developing detailed functional specifications for strategic projects
Development, writing, and communication of business requirements for the design and implementation of business solutions for initiatives with high visibility
Proactively identify any process improvements and drill down into the details of the business requirements and understand all aspects of the requirements
Business consulting continuous improvement: research best practices and identify/assess options for the improved processes/systems/strategies

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
A minimum of 5 years of experience with business analyst functions – gathering requirements and documenting them, coordinating User Acceptance Testing, interacting with different business units in FSI
Sound knowledge of OMS
Good communication and technical skills, ability to handle complicated system and integration problems are also required
Good understanding of technology such as Core Java, J2EE, Database Web Applications, Multithreading, and Middleware technology like Enterprise Service Bus, Complex Event Processing Engine, IBM MQ Series
Client-focused and value-driven, able to adapt to fast and dynamic business changes
Passionate to drive major IT initiatives to help business transformation
