Hays Oil and Gas are working on behalf of one of the leading Global Corporate Banks who have been lending to the Oil and Gas Exploration and Production sector for four decades. The bank is known to be one of the most prevalent Oil and Gas banks in the sector and has retained a strong technical capability to enhance their offering to the industry.

The present Reservoir Engineer maintains and supports the relationship teams across the UK to technically appraise and evaluate Oil and Gas assets and associated data relating to exploration and production of hydrocarbons. There is a vacancy for a Reservoir Engineer to join this growing team; the successful candidate will be involved in the following:

• Repayment source / security for Oil and Gas related risk exposures.
• Actively manage specific Oil and Gas relationships where the bank has been formally appointed as Technical Bank in order to lead the syndicate of banks through credit events.
• Represent the Bank and sector relationship team at industry specific events and seminars as part of maintaining the banks market reputation.
• Manage a designated selection of customer relationships where the bank is appointed as Technical Bank
• Educate, inform and direct Bank risk / credit understanding of the technical issues.
• Develop, structure and review proposals in order to meet customer requirements and identify opportunities to develop further income, recommending and implementing the appropriate solutions.
• Formally monitor customer progress vs. plan for exploration and development activities.
