Technical Field Sales Manager Job in Thame, Southern UK
An exciting opportunity for a Technical Field Sales Manager has become available for my Thame based client, a leading manufacturer and supplier of environmentally-friendly Water Treatment Equipment and associated services to the industrial and commercial markets.
This is a new role in the company, introduced to increase business and generate new revenue. You will be an experienced sales professional managing London and the Home Counties, promoting a range of innovative and proprietary separation, disinfection and water-recycling equipment solutions. Ideally you will have worked within the industry previously however candidates with a strong background in electrical engineering and some mechanical knowledge will also be considered.
Predominantly this role will be field based selling to customers on a face to face basis, you will be responsible for securing your own appointments and generating new leads. You will also have the opportunity to work with the existing database in order to grow, nurture and to reintroduce the companies services.
You will be required to go to Thame Oxfordshire once a week, therefore a maximum of 1 hour commute is preferred. The ideal candidate will have excellent presentation and communication skills, will be able to build rapport with customers and have a proven sales background.
The benefits package comprises of a company car, mobile phone and a salary up to £35K dependant on experience.
