Technical Lead in Technical Support, Trading, Permanent, Frankfurt (Germany) recruitment

You will be part of an international Technical Support Team and will directly report to the Head of Technical Support. In your role as technical lead you will own and drive technical projects and provide leadership for a group of project members. This is not a pure management position. Technical lead managers are expected to contribute with a hands-on attitude to their project.

-Support the Head of Technical Support to lead a fast-paced, high-profile global team which provides 24x5 1st level support and forms the primary point of contact for external customers for technical issues including working rotating shifts.

-Planning resources to guarantee fulfilment of service level agreements, including 1st level, 2nd level and emergency support

-Managing proactive maintenance tasks and preventive monitoring

-Planning and management of customer rollouts, upgrades and migrations

-Manage customer relationships with respect to technical issues

-Driving training and development of Technical Support staff in both the Frankfurt team and for the international Help Desks (located in New York and Singapore)

-Identifying and driving process improvements with a focus on engineering, standardisation and automation

In order to be considered for this role, you will need the following:

-University qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration and/or other relevant area. An MBA would be an advantage.

-Proven hands-on attitude and work style.

-Excellent organisational, communication, leadership and customer service skills.

-Experienced in giving presentations and training to technical audiences.

-Expert knowledge of ITIL V3 and a proven track record in reviewing and judging processes and process documentation.

-Minimum of 5 years of experience in professional ICT-Operations / Computing Services Solutions.
