CTS Technical Leader is the customer single point of contact, responsible for all the end-to-end technical activities for that customer, which could be either opportunities, in case of a presales engagement, or projects in case of a post sales engagement 

The CTS Technical leader, in teamwork with the Sales team in the scope of his CTS Local Team, is responsible for providing technical support for identifying, qualifying, developing and closing license opportunities and delivering professional services to the customer.

The CTS Technical Leader's role in execution is to provide high-level oversight of all the ongoing projects/opportunities within the customer and take action on risks and resources as required to bring activities to a successful completion

This client facing role requires strong technical competency and project management experience coupled with the ability and willingness to deliver in first person.

Supported by the local CTS Delivery Manager, this person will be responsible for the staffing/team coordination for all customer technical activities in order to provide high quality and timely services that retain customer loyalty and encourage the deployment of TIBCO technology

As consulting project/opportunity manager this person is required to work closely with opportunity/project stakeholders and client executives in order to successfully implement the clients’ vision.

This role requires strong written and verbal communication skills.

As technical team leader for any projects/opportunities at the customer, he is responsible for provide either in first person or coordinating a team of CTS consultants, the following type of activities

·     Articulation of the TIBCO Value proposition to customer, thru technical workshops and product demonstrations.

·     Designing and implementing solutions based on TIBCO technology to fit the customer business requirements with effective technical solutions consisting of TIBCO products, consulting and educational services

·     Responding to RFP/RFI and building Technical Proposals to customers

·     Envisioning business benefits and returns to customer

·     Building creative solutions

·     Pitching the TIBCO Vertical Value proposition

·     Providing architectural support

·     Delivering on TIBCO products and supporting all the project implementation related activities

Business Management Responsibilities:

·     Support the licenses and consulting service opportunities to increase revenue growth, and customer satisfaction, while achieving assigned booking and revenue goals.

·     In partnership with local Sales and Delivery manager, develop a strategic business plan, based on territory goals, business mix, product introduction, product offering and consulting services.

·     Assure account management is aligned with business objectives and activities of TIBCO sales.

Personnel Management Responsibilities:

·     Provide coaching and mentoring to project/opportunity team members in order to develop and increase their technical skills

·     Provide regular guidance for each member of the project/opportunity team members team in achieving both business and personal goals.

Selling Responsibilities:

·     In partnership with TIBCO Sales, perform selling function using a solutions selling and delivery approach both to penetrate and expand into existing accounts and to differentiate TIBCO value proposition with prospects.

·     Proactively build consultancy services pipeline in conjunction with the Account Management/Sales Team.

·     Implement account expansion programs such as Pre-packaged solutions and future programs as they are announced.

·     Understand client's business (critical success factors, markets, customers, competition) and set account strategies to compliment the client's goals.

·     Assess key decision makers needs and determine the appropriate sales message and service offerings to meet customer needs.

·     Serve as primary services escalation point within account.

·     Develop and deliver pre-sales presentations and proposals.

·     Communicate regularly with local Sales, Delivery Manager, peer Technical Leader, Regional Director as necessary on account status and engagement issues.

 

The role demands a high degree of personal autonomy and the incumbent is expected to manage his/her own time across a small number of client accounts and use planning and influencing skills to leverage other resources within TIBCO and where appropriate, partner organisations.
