Technical Leader - Product Safety : This world leader in the production and development of drilling and production equipment to the oil and gas industry are looking for a Technical Leader in Product Safety process's.
Technical Leader - Product Safety responsibilities:
Mentoring less experience safety engineers, leading safety process integration for new business acquisitions, and driving continuous process improvement.
Working closely with both the New Product introduction and OTR leaders across the Drilling Production function to ensure transactional product safety reviews are completed that includes all potential design changes are evaluated for their effect on product safety.
Be the Quality Leader for the Product Safety Engineering team, driving best practices into traditional quality policies and procedures.
The successful candidate must be able to motivate, organize and train personnel in all aspects of the product safety review process.
Technical Leader - Product Safety qualifications
BS degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Safety, or Industrial Engineering.
Strong years’ experience in Engineering, Mechanical System Analysis, or Product Safety Risk Assessment.
Proven years’ experience in leading product safety risk assessments per the EEDI-170 process and performing acquisition due diligence and EEDI-170 integration.
Successfully achieves positive result, concrete result through hard work and perseverance.
Easily analyses and prioritizes information, distilling it to the critical issues and drawing accurate conclusions.
Thorough knowledge of global industry safety codes, standards/regulations.
Experience in performing probabilistic analysis of mechanical systems.
