For Vopak Netherlands we are recruiting a Technical Manager for the terminal located in Vlaardingen.
Functie
The Technical Manager reports to the PMO Manager.
The Technical Manager is member of the Vopak Vlaardingen management team.
Purpose of the position:
The Technical manager is responsible for managing the execution of the capex portfolio for the Vlaardingen Terminal within budget, schedule and scope.
Tasks responsibilities:
- Develop, review and implement the terminal master plan and capex portfolio for Vopak Vlaardingen
- Monitor, optimize and approve the terminal’s capex portfolio
- Manage a safe and efficient execution of the work within planning and budget
- Manage and monitor the service delivery by suppliers and contractors for projects
- Responsible for the implementation of and being compliant with SHEQ policies, project governance procedures and work instructions
- Manage capex projects (risk, budget, time and quality), initiate corrective actions when needed and control changes during execution

Vopak Vlaardingen, being the largest Vegoil terminal worldwide, is targeting to expand its capacity from 500,000 to 600,000 cubic meters in the coming years.

Functie eisen
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a technical subject
- 7+ years experience in a similar role in a related industry
- 2+ years managerial experience
- Fluent in English and Dutch
