Our client is a large financial services organization that is a leading global trader of Equities, Fixed Income, Structured and Derivative products.
Job description:
Reporting to the Managing Director - Head of the PMO for North America / IT Technology, we're seeking a Program Manager to supervise IT delivery projects ranging from infrastructure to development.
Responsibilities include:
• Project management of software development and maintenance program in an in house software development shop;
• Leadership of complex teams and projects coordinating with multiple locations around the world;
• Provide technical vision on projects, designing solutions to business needs and architecting project plans with a "hands on" technical approach;
• Strong communication skills.
Who we are looking for:
• 7+ Experience running projects and programs in Capital Markets
• 4+ years of hands on infrastructure engineering or software development experience in capital markets, including experience managing teams;
• Strong understanding of cash equity business;
• Experience with Agile / Jira / Rally;
• Deep understanding of project dynamics, end to end, from planning / requirements to development / qa and deployment / Ops processes;
• Proven experience running multiple concurrent projects; strongly procedure oriented
• MBA or MIS from a top tier university preferred.
