Technical Project Manager – Operational Risk recruitment
Leading investment bank requires an experienced Technical Project Manager working on a new Risk Management system implementation. You will have a solid understanding of the full project life cycle and Operational Risk within investment banking.
The role is working on the expansion of the bank’s operational risk function due to large investment from senior management and the business. Must have technical project management experience with focus on on-time delivery of the development components, and business analysis experience to review the incoming requirements and produce functional specifications understanding the impact on existing functionality.
Must have extensive IT Project Management experience within Investment Banking with a sound knowledge of Operational Risk. Needs the ability to provide detailed technical analysis, gathering business requirements and excellent client-facing skills.
You will have the ability to work effectively within a globalised environment with experience of technology team leadership, managing/communicating with a offshore development team and experience of Change Management and IT Process improvements.
Person Requirements:
• Operational Risk experience - Investment Banking
• Technical project manager
• Technical analysis: gap analysis, impact analysis, planning to produce delivery timeline
• Experience in vendor management
• Experience in business stakeholder management
• Oracle Database knowledge
• Knowledge of trade life cycle, investment banking products
• Proven experience with rigorous software development life cycle processes
• Any technical knowledge and/or hands-on experience in:
