Technical Project Manager – Private Wealth
About the role:
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with a strong applications focus to join our Private Wealth Technology team to deliver projects focussed around trading and settlement systems. This role will encompass the end to end project delivery as well as the management of a team of developers to deliver key business projects which are aligned to the strategic growth of the Private Wealth Business.
Key responsibilities:
- End to end management of IT Project Deliverables including Planning, Execution timing etc
- Manage a team of up to 10 Developers aligned to your project
- Ensure timely delivery utilising extensive Schedules and Milestones to ensure delivery
- Bridge the gap between Technology and the Business and understand key requirements
About you:
To be successful in this role as a Technical Project Manager you will be degree qualified and have proven applications project delivery experience, ideally with trading or settlement systems. You will demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills with a key focus on collaboration as well as having proven track record in managing a team to deliver applications based projects. In addition you will possess the following skills and experience
- Excellent Negotiation, Communication and Relationship Building Skills
- PMP or similar qualification
- Ability to lead a team, across multiple locations to ensure one clear vision of delivery
- Problem Solving attitude and have the confidence to challenge approaches and decisions where necessary
