Technical Sales Executive


Technical Sales Executive - German Speaking - Bristol - £25k +10k OTE

ISL is currently recruiting a German speaking Technical Sales Executive to work with our market leading manufacturing client based in Bristol. The company is experiencing an upturn in demand for their unique and innovative products and are recruiting a number of new positions across Europe.

The Technical Sales Executive will report directly to the Head of European Sales and the Managing Director. Selling the company's products directly and indirectly to customers in the German market, the Technical Sales Executive will have responsibility for generating new business within the region whilst maintaining and developing existing relationships with key distributers/agents.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide excellent customer service to ensure maximum customer satisfaction resulting in repeat orders and recommendations.

- Resolve routine problems/issues faced by distributors and end users.

- Proactively seek new business opportunities.

- Travel extensively throughout the designated territory making field sales calls providing training

- Research market and potential customers, have an awareness of developments within the market

- Attend trade shows, make presentations, give seminars

- Report activities on a weekly basis and ensure that Goldmine management contact system is updated with details of all calls.

- Meet regularly with the Head of European Sales to review strategy and progress.

- Attend meetings at the Head Office in Bristol as and when required.

Key Skills Experience

- Fluent in German English

- Ability to present information clearly both in writing and verbally.

- Flexible attitude, self-motivated, proactive, enthusiastic

- Comfortable communicating with a variety of customers

- Any experience working in the pharmaceutical / contamination control arena would be highly beneficial, but not essential.

You will be based in Bristol but with frequent travel to Germany- Frankfurt, Berlin Munich (around 50% of time will be spent in the territory). Please do not apply unless you are prepared to undergo this amount of travel. Salary for this position is negotiable depending on experience, but is expected to be in the region of £25,000 + 10k OTE.
