A global leader in the delivery of advanced lifting systems and service solutions, our client improves their customers' productivity and safety. An opportunity has now arisen for a Technical Sales Manager to join their team.
As a Technical Sales Manager, you will develop new business and profitably grow sales of our client's workstation lifting system products across the UK and Ireland.
Spending the majority of your time on the road, you will be responsible for driving sales of our client's slewing jib cranes, light cranes systems, chain hoists, air balancers and load manipulation devices.
Your duties will include:
- maximising cross selling opportunities and providing product support to sales personnel
- preparing sales proposals for customers
- assisting in project management to ensure successful project delivery
- seeking out new leads and opportunities and identifying competitor activity
To be considered for this position, you must have significant technical sales experience, ideally selling lifting and/or materials handling equipment into the manufacturing sector. Excellent relationship building and communication skills are also key.
As a Technical Sales Manager, you should have the desire and motivation to deliver results and exceed targets. The ability to win and develop new business is also essential.
