Technical Sales Representative
Title: Technical Sales Representative - International
Hours: 8-5pm, Monday- Friday
Wages: $15-18/ hour to start
Education: College Degree
Job Requirement: Must speak fluent Spanish
Primary Function: Establishing, building and maintaining international customer relationships, preparing quotes, processing sales orders and logistics for International Accounts
Job Summary: Support Technical Sales sales out of the Baton Rouge office by preparing quotes, sales orders and coordinating shipping logistics for International Accounts.
Ensures that customers receive the best service possible through processing orders, preparing general correspondence, and coordinating with other functions as required. Acts as primary customer contact regarding customer service issues, invoicing, scheduling, and shipping.
The job duties include cold calling, preparing quotations, invoicing, handling customer service issues, arranging freight including pick-up and delivery of Stainless Steel Products, handling shipping documentation that deals with imports and exports and translating technical information into Spanish. This Technical Sales Representative monitors the status of the shipment until delivery, coordinates with suppliers, partners agents and customers. Other duties may be assigned to help ensure the smooth operation of the business.
Skills Requirement:
• Must be fluent in speaking Spanish and English
• Knowledge of a range of Microsoft applications
• Knowledge of Sage/CRM systems
• Highly motivated with the initiative to complete any task efficiently.
• Excellent phone skills
• Works well in a high speed, activity based team atmosphere
• Good communication skills, both oral and written
• Trustworthy, reliable, time conscious and keen on details
• Very proficient at multi-tasking
