To continue building our lead in the Identity Management market, Courion is seeking an experienced, highly motivated technical engineer to provide post-sales implementation and support to Courion’s global customers. The individual will play a vital role in the successful implementation and use of Courion’s award-winning provisioning, compliance and role management solutions.

 

Courion Services Engineers work with customer technology resources to implement and support Courion's products at customer locations worldwide. Services Engineers have proven technology skills, strong product expertise, above average problem solving ability and well developed customer relationship skills to help customers maximize their return on their software purchase investment. Responsibilities include:

 

Key Responsibilities:

·   Team with Solutions Delivery Consultants and other Services Engineers to provide solutions addressing the customer's technical environment and requirements

·   Utilise Courion services processes, tools and methodologies to ensure successful deployment of customer solutions

·   Install and configure Courion software products at a customer location or by remote access

·   Document on-site work and train customers on how to support the solution going forward

·   Create repeatable implementation and support tools, processes and general best practices

·   Provide support to existing customers

·   Troubleshoot customer systems and work with software engineering staff to resolve problems

·   Maintain target billable utilization rate, typically between 70% and 85%

 

Requirements

·   Bachelor's Degree in information systems (or related area) or demonstration of equivalent knowledge

·   Identity management industry experience is highly desired

·   Demonstrable hands-on experience implementing enterprise-wide software solutions to customers, preferably in the areas of provisioning, compliance and/or role management

·   5+ years of IT experience, with significant services engineering experience working with a software company

·   Strong technical knowledge (information security, IT Operations, IT infrastructure)

·   Experience in the following areas: Information Security, Database Technologies (SQL), Microsoft Active Directory, Networking, Directories

·   Experience of XML, XSLT, HTML, ASP, Visual Basic or PERL is an advantage

·   Must be able to work well both independently and collaboratively, with experience of working in a project team and face to face with customers.

·   Self-directed and versatile; willingness to work on a variety of projects as assigned

·   Must be suitable for working on government projects that are subject to background security checks (financial and CRB checks, etc).

·   Up to 50% travel on average (throughout UK and EMEA, and occasionally to Head office in the U.S.)

 

Also beneficial

·   Experience with .NET, Novell e-directory/NDS, LDAP, Mainframe (Os390, Os400), Unix, Linux, SAP.

·   Experience of working in a small, dynamic organization

·   Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification
