Technical Specialist Assurance Manager
You'll foster proactive and professional relationships with the business, providing challenging insight in to areas of non-compliance and its causes. This role has the option to be based in Edinburgh, London or Warsaw.
Corporate Security Services (Security and Fraud) seeks to work together to protect our business and our customers and to be an intelligence-led proactive team, proud to work collaboratively with the business to assess threats and drive risk-based decisions. In order to do all that we have seven specialist teams; Investigations, Co-ordination, Intelligence and Investigations (CII), Physical Security, Fraud Prevention, Assurance, Records Management, Information Payments Security (IPS).
As Technical Specialist Assurance Manager you'd manage and deliver desktop and onsite assurance reviews at our third party suppliers. You'll provide the business with an understanding of the risks associated with those engagements, based on international standards (ISO/IEC27001 and ISO/IEC27002 frameworks) and industry best practice for information security and business resilience.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Deputising for Assurance Delivery Manager
- Travel to a variety of third party locations and divisions
- Preparing timely reports on completed reviews, accurately reflecting and identifying reasons for non-compliance
- Influencing and inspiring other team members to observe all processes and controls by rigorously applying principles of a strong control environment
- Supporting and contributing the development of others within the team by sharing knowledge to enhance the understanding of the risk environment
To succeed as Technical Specialist Assurance Manager you'll have experience of assurance or audit and have a highly developed knowledge of ISO/IEC27001 and ISO/IEC27002 frameworks. You will also have professional qualifications in at least one of the following areas:
- Information security CISSP, CISA, CISM, MinstIsp, MSc Information Security
- IT continuity - CISSP, ITIL Service Management
- Business continuity - BCI Certified Membership
- Physical security - Member of Security Institute at Member Level
- Fraud prevention - Financial Crime Diploma
