Our client, Qld's primary distributor of a leading range of Survey, Precision Positioning Machine Control, GPS and Laser Equipment is currently seeking Techincal Support Specialists.
Services provided include sales, service, installation, calibration, hire and training to the civil construction, earth moving, mining and surveying industries.
If you are interested in a position which requires you to provide excellent internal and external customer service through engineering technical support within the Survey, GPS and Machine Control aspects of our client's business, then this role could be for you.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Formal engineering survey qualifications and/or extensive experience gained within the civil construction, civil engineering or mine surveying environments
- A full drivers licence
- A flexible, professional attitude towards work
- Outstanding communication and organisational skills, along with a positive outgoing personality
- Understanding of Survey desktop and field software applications along with sound computer skills
In additional you will have the ability to:
- Deliver both pre sale and post sale technical support to customers on a range of products, including Data Collectors, precision Positioning Machine Control, GPS Radio Equipment, Laser and other associated products
- Undertake new product evaluation and testing
- Travel extensively within Qld, some interstate travel, including staying away from home at times
- Plan, prepare and deliver specific user, equipment or software training to customers as required
