Baker Hughes is looking for an AMO (Assembly, Maintenance and Overhaul) Engineer, preferably with 5 years of experience in the Repair and Maintenance of equipment used during Wire-line logging operations, to assist in the delivery and development of technical training courses. The candidate must have experience in Baker Atlas Wire-line down-hole and surface equipment. Candidate must have good presentation and facilitation skills to deliver technical training courses with accuracy and creativity. The Technical Training Specialist II will join the Supply Chain Training and Development team and it will report to Western Hemisphere Supply Chain Delivery Manager. The position will be based in Odessa, Texas but candidate must be highly mobile and willing to relocate to the Houston area if required. As instructor the candidate should have the ability to learn quickly, make decisions under minimal supervision and respond well to pressure situations. Excellent communication and teamwork skills needed, with the ability to work with a diverse population of learners. Candidate will benefit from excellent developmental and career path opportunities. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: · Deliver technical training courses following the company standards. · Directs and coordinates maintenance of equipment used during practical activities included in each technical training course syllabus. Support the Supply Chain Development group in the creation and/or content upgrade of technical training courses. Prepares performance evaluations for each assigned trainee and sends to trainee's supervisor for review and follow-up action. Support the Training Delivery Manager in the different activities of the training center as required. Successful applicants will possess the following requirements: Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in technical field. 5+ years ?? product or Repair and Maintenance experience. Knowledge Skills: Repair and Maintenance experience in ECLIPS surface equipment and WTS down-hole equipment. Self- motivated, persistent and able to work in a team environment.
