About the Job

This position will write standard operating procedures using correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, editing, formatting and proofreading skills to clearly and concisely provide accurate information. These procedures will be used to support the development of operational processes and procedures for the Client Benefits Department as they transition to a new application. The successful candidate must possess excellent writing and verbal communication skills, be proficient in interviewing subject matter experts to translate current processes into properly formatted electronic SOPs, creating process flow maps, and possess the ability to work collaboratively and independently to achieve stated goals. The successful candidate must possess outstanding MS Word, Visio flow charting, and PowerPoint skills, be a self-starter and well organized, be able to work independently on a multi-task work load, produce a quality product under tight time constraints. 
Duties 
Primary responsibilities will include: • Working with members of the Client Benefits team to identify and document departmental processes and procedures • Coordinating and ensuring that documentation is written, edited, reviewed, and approved in a timely manner to meet established deadlines. • Collaborating with document originators or other personnel to resolve discrepancies and apply required changes to documents. • Issues document change requests and documentation status reports • Finalizing SOPs (masters) and associated historical data 

• Responsible for documenting meeting minutes and other administrative duties as required. 

Experience 
Must have the following: • Experience and involvement with development and start of the document system preferred • Proven ability to work independently with minimal detailed instruction; producing work with a high degree of accuracy • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic production environment • Proven track record of strong communication skills demonstrated by successfully communicating with large groups are required • A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in writing SOPs, Work Instructions and/or other technical documentation used in the Biopharmaceutical or Pharmaceutical Industry.
