TECHNICAL WRITER, Hardware
OVERVIEW:
Our client is one of the world's leading computer components manufacturing companies with an immediate opening for a Tech Writer. This candidate will support development of semiconductor product technical specifications. S/He will use Adobe FrameMaker to edit and format large documents (up to 7,000 pages per document).
Job functions:
* Format per corporate template and standards
* Edit grammar for consistency and ease of use
* Apply cross references and variables
* Build Books
REQUIREMENTS:
* Adobe FrameMaker 8,9,10 Power Users only
* Strong formatting and editing skills
* Expert with cross references, variables, bookbuilding
* Ability to use file management systems such as Documentum
* XML / DITA, Microsoft Word, Visio, Justsystems XMetaL
