Your New Role
Our client, operating in a vibrant industry space, are currently sourcing for a strong OHS consultant to take ownership of, and, implement the firms Health and Saftey strategy. This position will report into the HR Manager role and working closely with the HR team. Some travel across Sydney and interstate will be required.
Your Duties
Reporting into the HR Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring existing policies and processes are working effectively,
- Responsibility for developing strategies and implementing safety plans across the company.
- Implement changes and train the business with the aim of increasing the level of safety awareness performance.
- You will be communicating with senior management both on a corporate and operational level and influencing cultural change within the business.
- Training and coaching
- Some inter state/travel
Your Background
To succeed in this role, you will hold a tertiary qualification and the ability to build deep, strong and trusting relationships with your clients and colleagues.
You will have at least 4 + years working within OHS and have a proven ability to build rapport and network across departments
