The Power Conversion segment, which has its headquarters in Villach, is recognized in the industry as the world-wide market and technology leader in power semiconductors. We develop innovative and intelligent power semiconductor solutions for efficient and high-density power conversion applications. Our products are found in a wide range of everyday appliances such as servers, telecom applications, solar inverters, TVs, game consoles, computers, white goods etc., where, among other things, they help keep the consumption of energy down to a minimum.
In this position you will come up with new ideas to realize power semiconductor devices and their manufacturing procedures and evaluate them. Design of device concepts, process concepts, metallization stacks including process feasibility and cost assessment, and decision analysis will also be among your tasks, as well as the specification of unit process requirements and the coordination of unit process developments.
In addition, you will be responsible for the advancements to reach production maturity by planning, accomplishment, and analysis of design of the experiments. You will co-work with our other teams in the areas of application engineering, product marketing, unit process development, production sustainment, and physical failure analysis.

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G (http://www.feei.at/kollektivvertraege/kv_tabelle/). A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.
