Technology Leader Job in Bristol, South West UK
The client I am representing is an industry leading, global aerospace supplier and due to a period of sustained growth, urgently require a Technology Leader to perform a key leadership role within the engineering department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation of an innovative value adding technology strategy and associated project portfolio.
The responsibilities of the role are;
- Creation of a technology strategy designed to underpin the company's strategic plan,
- To develop a strong understanding of and alignment with Customers product strategies,
- Identification and initiation of technology projects,
- Management of the Technology technical review processes,
- Providing progress reporting and communication material.
The requirements for the role are;
- Engineering degree or equivalent in Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering or similar,
- Expertise in Engineering Technology and Manufacturing Systems and Systems integration,
- Experience in designing, developing and commissioning manufacturing systems solutions,
- Ability to develop technical solutions, compliant with requirements within agreed programmes and timescales,
- Previous experience in acting as the engineering interface with customers both internal and external
- Demonstrates extensive leadership experience across multi disciplined Engineers teams and as part of an engineering leadership team.
