Telecommunication Consultant – Global Management Consultancy
My client is a global management consulting firm and is a preferred advisor to some of the top FTSE 100 companies. They provide method, problem solving and strategic advice to an existing client base that spans across 50 different countries.
An opportunity exists for an Associate Consultant to join their fast growing Telecommunication Practice within the wider organization in the London office. With 200 professionals worldwide, my client’s telecommunications practice is a global leader in advisory services. The team is responsible for providing ground breaking problem solving and implementation of strategies to a growing client base.
The successful candidate will be required to develop detailed analysis to help devise client solutions and manage an existing client project. You will follow clients on a variety of projects to identify and exploit opportunities for innovation, growth and business performance.
Required Experience:
- 3-5 years experience in strategy or management consulting to Telecommunication firms, preferably within a ‘Big 4’ type consulting firm
- Strong project management acumen
- Experience in internal or external client project work
- Strong curiosity and experience in developing innovative ideas and client value propositions
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Bachelors Degree
Key responsibilities will involve:
- As an Associate you will continue to develop quantitative analyses but you’ll also contribute to the problem structuring process
- You will take responsibility over one area of the project and the recommendations linked to this area
- You’ll supervise your more junior colleagues.
- Your exposure to the client will increase
- As part of your formal developments, you will be required to take advanced skills courses and in-house developed consulting courses
