Here are few things you will be doing as a Temporary Supply Chain Agent in our fast-paced Operations team environment specializing in small volume, high mix production:
You will perform source selection, prepare Requests for Quote and negotiate pricing for both short term and long term execution. Manage key supplier relationships and monitor performance. Prepare purchase orders for material, non-recurring and recurring services in compliance with documented purchasing procedures. Maintain procurement documentation in accordance with documented purchasing procedures and performance metrics.
Experience/Skills Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
- US Citizenship
- 3+ years sourcing and procuring in at least half of the following areas:
- Knowledge of Supplier Contracts, the Uniform Commercial Code and INCOTERMS
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with an ERP system such as Oracle or SAP
- Institute for Supply Management (ISM) Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification
