Temporary Corporate Governance Paralegal/Legal Assistant
Kelly Law Registry, New England's TOP Legal Recruiter, is currently seeking an experienced Corporate Governance Paralegal for our Milford, CT area client. Responsibilities include: Assist in preparing and administering corporate documentation such as minutes/resolutions, powers of attorney, delegation of signature authority and annual filings; Assist in the process of managing and monitoring contracts related to, among other things, consultants, service providers, and non-employee sales representatives; Assist in drafting, revising and implementing contracts; Oversee and coordinate Information Technology needs and resources of the department; Assist in the management and monitoring of policies regarding trade associations; Participate in activities and assist in the development and implementation of plans to improve and/or streamline existing processes within the department; Maintain various databases such as Lawtrac; Management of department facilities related needs; Assist in implementation of policies related to legal; Provide professional customer service to internal and external clients; Provide technical and administrative support for Microsoft Office; Effectively and efficiently execute and complete assigned projects; Assist in implementing the budgets; Perform diversified clerical/administrative legal support functions such as creating, storing and revising documents/correspondence; Establish and maintain office files, records and logs; Process invoices; and Other administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications/Experience: Bachelor's or AA/AS Degree preferred; 5+ years Paralegal/Legal Assistant experience; Requires knowledge on operating computers, softwares (including Microsoft Work, Excel, Powerpoint), accessories (E-Mail and Internet) and hardware (Laserjet printers, color printers and local area network); and The successful candidate will be a high-energy, self starter capable of multi-tasking and efficiently managing administrative requirements while identifying ways to improve and streamline the processes within the department.
