Our client is an Australian iconic brand and they are looking for a Area (Sales) Managers to deliver the overall financial objectives of a defined geographic region through the management and co-ordination of a team of Territory Sales Managers and Independent Contractors. This result will be delivered through the implementation and execution of category based strategies with an emphasis on customer engagement, capability development and value creation.

Key Business objective are in 5 key areas:

  • Financial Management and Budgets

  • Contractor Performance Management and Development
  • Customer Management and Engagement
  • Business Management and Administration

Requirements for this role include:

  • 2-3 years experience in people supervision role, preferably in a sales or business management environment
  • Strong experience in FMCG industry
  • Proven track record in team building and people development
  • Proven track record in business / customer development and value creation
  • Sales management experience in all channels of FMCG i.e. Territory Sales Reps Independent Contractors
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Computer literate - excel, word, powerpoint
  • Strong Communication skills - verbal and written
  • Business Management skills
