The position . . .

Good morning Mr. Phelps.

Your mission, should you wish to accept it is to conquer one of three key world territories. Territory, North America, South America, Eastern Europe. The forces to overcome are the competition and global economies. You will manage one territory manager, your authority is final.

You will live and work out of Langley, BC, head office. Our target territories include: Fort McMurray AB, Western USA (AZ, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, gold and copper mines.) In BC, your clients are dealerships and end users. Russia and Mongolia, you call on mines and dealerships.

 

The tools. 

You’ll work with a support team of engineers, production experts, sales manager and service support staff from command headquarters in our Langley office. There will be some travel to the territory, you are trusted to optimize our footprint where required. You may be called up to neutralize those who jeopardize your mission. It is your mission. You are responsible.

 

The client. 

Our client’s metal manufacturing company produces engineered large, heavy, unique, costly, complex, attachments, equipment and machines for the resource sector around the world. Mines, drilling sites, equipment dealers. Category; Equipment, industrial, processing, manufacturing. Revenues about $50m.

You have been chosen for your years of sales, business, commercial, mining, engineering and industrial knowledge. Your unique understanding of strategic and system selling. Your ability to dissect the primary business opportunities on the scale of continents. Your over riding ambitions to rule the world, and your exceptional intelligence made us at the IMF, to decide on you. You are our man.

 

Your fees.

We here at the IMF have discussed your fees and are prepared to meet them. In the leather bound dossier you will find the earnings of some of your peers, (our sales agents), which have exceeded $160k in 2010.  This serves as your proof that we will honour your demands.

Why I wrote this ad.

IMF, Impossible Missions Force. The show was Mission Impossible. I watched it in Sunday afternoon on black and white tv. It spoke to me of incredible challenge, a focused dedicated team, and to do the impossible. I still feel that way. This is a real career opportunity with an incredible client.
