Test Consultant – Investment Banking Consultancy recruitment
Rule Financial are growing and as a result we are looking for a focused dynamic consultant to be part of the successful Rule Financial testing discipline. The role provides a varied challenge primarily around the delivery of testing engagements for our clients but also supporting the ongoing growth of Rule’s testing capability.
The types of engagements you would be involved in could be equally varied from working as part of a larger testing team to being the sole tester within a lean Agile team. This is a hand on testing role with potential test lead opportunities.
The consultancy element of the role is key, as the successful individual will need to interact effectively with client stakeholders of all levels as well as playing an active role in the development of the testing discipline.
Your talents:
- Credible software testing experience(specifically test analysis, test case design) within Financial Services sector
- Thorough knowledge of functional testing using structured testing techniques
- Understanding and experience of technical testing and non-functional testing
- Understanding of the risk-based approach to developing test plans
- Strong client facing and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Experience of working with globally dispersed teams
- Strong knowledge of industry-defined Testing Services/Methodologies
- Preference given for experience in wholesale and investment banking
- Communication skills to be able to build effective working relationships with both technical and business stakeholders, client side and within Rule Financial
- Strong documentation skills – particularly excel and powerpoint
- Ability to identify and qualify business opportunities for Rule Financial, working with Rule account leads and relationship managers
