Software Tester/ Test Analyst - - £30k - London, City of London.
This award winning web solutions company based in the heart of London are looking for a Tester/Test Analyst/Web Tester to join a small testing team The successful Software Tester will be joining a team of Web developers working on the testing and delivery of software within various web frameworks.
Core skills experience for this Test Analyst role.
• Prepare test plans prior to starting testing.
• Write manual test scripts, where required.
• Perform manual testing.
• Report issues with clear descriptions that enable developers to reproduce the issues you report.
• Re-test resolved issues and reopen anything that isn't actually resolved.
• Communicate results to the project manager or account manager.
• Assist with issue diagnosis - helping to troubleshoot issues and develop client feedback into actionable bug reports.
• Identify issues that should have been prevented prior to testing.
• Strive to continuously improve processes.
For this Software Tester role your key responsibilities will focus on producing detailed test plans scripts based on in depth specifications. Producing accurate test results reports, tracking their progress through to closure is also a key. You will be testing the software using manual testing techniques but any automated testing experience is advantageous.
The ability to investigate, Test and deliver software with knowledge of Web technologies such as PHP, .Net (ASP.Net C#) etc is essential. Ideally you will be ISEB certified.
