Testing Manager – Market Risk recruitment
Driven by the needs of the Market Risk change project, our client currently has a requirement for a Business-focused analyst to co-ordinate testing and release cycles, acting as the primary test, release planning interface to IT across all Market Risk projects and increasingly to align credit project business testing.
Key accountabilities within the role will include:
• Instigating and tracking of all business functional and data testing activities, including the planning and co-ordination of these tasks
• Day-to-day management of all business testing and release aspects of the project
• Manage and take remedial action as required
• Maintain a RAIDS log for all aspects of business testing and agreed release cycles
• Work in conjunction with each project team to ensure that defined test routines and cycles are clearly defined and understood by all (Business and IT)
• Escalate all Risk and Issues in a timely manner to the relevant Head of Programme Management
Successful applicants will have practical working knowledge of Basel 2 requirements and VaR concepts as they relate to exposure and regulatory capital reporting and to wider Market Risk management practices and procedures. Excellent and demonstrable business and IT testing and release planning, management and execution skills are key, as is demonstrable ability and confidence to build relationships across both business and IT, at all levels.
