Our Children, Youth and Family Wellbeing programs provides a great opportunity to work in a team committed to providing safe and nurturing care environments for Families, Children and Young people within the community.

 

Our Intensive Placement Prevention Program works with Families and Children identified by Families SA of being at risk of separation. Our team provides strengths based support, advocacy, practical and therapeutic intervention to vulnerable Families within the community, facilitating change.

 

The service is intensive, timely and responsive, supporting vulnerable families and children involved in the child protection system. The aim is to strengthen families and communities so that the family unit may be preserved.

 

The preferred candidate will possess Australian Accredited tertiary qualification in Social Work (or a related discipline) and eligibility for registration with the relevant professional Association and extensive experience working with families. You will have an understanding of the child protection system, service planning and excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
