THINKFOLIO SUPPORT MANAGER – VIE recruitment
The candidate will join the thinkFolio Support Team of 8 people within the Front-Office Business Solutions and IT Services (BSITS) Department for Fixed Income.
The support analyst will support many applications and especially thinkFolio which is a Decision MARKET TOOL (DMT) dedicated to the fixed income fund managers.
ThinkFolio covers the following features:
- Portfolio monitoring: calculation of portfolio exposure to identified risk factors with the ability to customize portfolio views to ensure effective monitoring.
- Portfolio simulation : impact of potential transactions and market events on portfolio exposure (including automated pre trade constraint checking )
- Portfolio modelling and optimisation: identification of transactions enabling portfolio managers to achieve a specific objective potentially under specific constraints (including automated pre trade constraint checking).
- Order generation : technical module that allows the Fund Manager to capture/check the orders issued from the simulation / modelling part and send them in a standard format to the OMS
Your main tasks will be :
- Support the Front Office Fixed Income products (thinkFolio, TMT Cash tool) :
- Analyze and fix the daily incidents.
- Ensure the availability by putting in place adequate procedures
- Analyze and formalise business requirements,
- Study and propose solutions and procedures,
- Coordinate IT teams actions,
- Assist the support manager,
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The candidate will be a highly motivated person with a good methodology training, and good information technology awareness. Excellent communication skills (including meeting minute) and a service-oriented personality are imperative to the position.
A good knowledge of the front office environment and an experience are needed.
