Tools Developer
Global Financial Firm is seeking a Tools Developer who will be responsible for building a custom test automation framework/lab for their new strategic Equities Trading platform.
The candidate must be passionate about Agile development and believe in possibility of implementing a fully automated software delivery pipeline. A strong technology track record with a focus on process efficiency is a must. Additionally, the candidate must be fluent in the following aspects of software development:
- Configuration management
- Continuous Integration
- Testing Strategy
- Deployment pipeline
- Testing non-functional requirements
- Release automation
- Managing requirements and test cases
- Managing components and dependencies
- Advanced Version Control
- Agile development
This is a Fulltime, Front Office role with direct access to business stake holders as well as various local and remote technology teams.
Qualifications:
- Experience with unit and integration testing
- Experience with automated acceptance testing
- Experience with one of the new generation testing tools, such as Twist, Cucumber, Fitnesse, Eggplant
- Good knowledge of a programming language (Java, C#, or other)
- Exposure to wide variety of technologies to facilitate automation of testing user interfaces and server side components
- An understanding of high-level system and business architecture
- Linux/Unix skills
- Familiarity with modern messaging technologies
- SQL skills
- Strong analytical mind and approach to problem solving
- BS, MS, PhD in Computer Science, Math, Physics, etc
