Top Tier Investment Bank – Application Support Analyst – Cash Equities
The role sits within a team that deals with mission critical trading technology projects and therefore, works within a highly pressurised environment.
The successful candidate will be expected to handle and react to complex queries and provide on-going support to ensure the smooth running of the equities trading systems.
This particular role will work directly with front office and very senior stakeholders therefore, strong communication skills are essential.
Requirements:
- Front Office application experience
- Equity markets knowledge and technological experience
- Solid futures or cash market understanding
- Technical background (Linux/Unix/SQL/ITIL)
- Experience Scripting (Perl/Shell, Java)
- Strong communication skills
Responsibilities include:
- Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support on mission critical equities cash trading technology
- Work alongside internal traders and sales (Front Office) and developers
- Constant development of knowledge of appropriate systems
- Troubleshooting order manager (PnL/Booking issues)
