Trade and Supply Chain Finance – Associate
This global player is looking to build out its Trade Finance and Supply chain business with the acquisition of a talented and ambitious young candidate. This role joins the global trade and supply chain team and reports directly to the head of the UK EMEA business.
The Role:
- Support and assist the origination team
- Provide clients with product information and advice.
- Provide guidance and management of credit risk, products and processes relating to vanilla and complex products.
- Engage clients to understand needs of business, maintain relationships and push trade products to clients
The Candidate:
- Trade Finance /Credit or Sales background with strong understanding of the Structured Commodity Finance space.
- Experience in a client facing capacity.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ambition and an entrepreneurial attitude
- Proven ability to build/develop relationships.
Understanding of the Trade Product Suite and experience within the structured trade finance space is imperative, candidates without this experience will not be considered for this role.
It is essential that candidates have previous Structured Trade Finance experience with significant success in the space. This role suits a very driven, ambitious candidate with sales-type personality. You should have excellent relationship management skills to coordinate with departments internally at the bank and also with external parties alike.
