Our client is a well-recognised and highly successful Corporate Bank looking to expand their presence in Singapore. As such, they are looking to hire candidates who have good experience within Corporate Banking Middle Office.
The Trade Middle Office provides a conduit between the Product Heads, the Client and Back Office Operations. The team is responsible for preparing complex Facility Letter documentation and Instructions to back office colleagues for completion of necessary security documentation.
You will provide a high level of service to MNC, Corporates and Commodity clients which exceeds their expectations and provide expert Trade advice and guidance to customers on their Trade business. You will also work in partnership with Relationship points on new and existing credit applications, providing guidance on credit appetite and consulting with Specialist Credit team as appropriate. You will also be responsible for the administration of all Trade related activity including the operational processing of the Bank's suite of Trade products and identify any cross sale/additional revenue opportunities from transactions processed.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- A Bachelor or Masters Degree
- Excellent understanding of Trade Instruments and International Payments
- Track record in Vanilla Trades or Structured Trades
- Working knowledge of ICC rules for Trade Products
- Understanding of relevant legislation
- Knowledge of facility documentation requirements
- Analytical and numerate
- Strong communication and relationship skills
