Trade Settlements Administrator

Our client is a top Investment Bank who are looking to recruit 2 Trade Settlements Clerks into their team.

The purpose of this role is to ensure all client trades are accurately captured within systems for the purpose of NAV creation, to ensure each client trade has a matching broker confirmation for the purpose of settlement, to follow trades through to settlement and resolve fails as and when they occur, and to action and resolve queries in a professional manner.

Responsibilities include:
To ensure that client trades are accurately captured within systems.
To ensure that trades are matched against broker confirmation, investigating and resolving any differences as they occur.
To actively chase brokers to ensure that trades are confirmed in a timely manner.
To investigate and resolve exceptions and share learning so as to avoid reoccurrence.
To ensure the accurate and timely completion of manually processing as required.
To act as point of contact for confirmation, matching and settlement queries, in addition to various client queries and requests.
To log, investigate and resolve failed trades on a daily basis.
To reconcile client cash and asset positions.
To contribute toward impact analysis for client requested change.
To help in the continuous improvement of processes.

The initial length of the assignment is estimated at 6 months.

The successful applicant will either be a graduate or from an accounts background with good numeracy skills.
