Trade Show Analyst

Critical Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide financial analysis for CES trade show activities through work with Expocad reports to include total revenue, total space, revenue, booth type and other metrics.
2. Oversee preparation of weekly and monthly forecasts based on Expocad reports.  Understand and explain monthly activity and variances.
3. Manage, maintain and reconcile the Expocad sub ledger.
4. Develop necessary sub ledger reports as required/requested.
5. Perform monthly reconciliations of contracts to sub ledger balances, and sub ledger balances to the General Ledger
6. Oversee integration of Expocad system with accounting systems.
7. Ensure ongoing integration of exhibitor accounts processes with overall departmental processes.
8. Train and support other Expocad users.
9. Serve as main liaison between CES Sales Department and Finance.
10. Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications; etc.
11. Manage space selection within Expocad.
12. Manage on-site CES space selection process.
13. Perform other duties as assigned and deemed necessary by Vice President, Finance.

Work Experience:
• At least five to eight years of experience including supervision of staff.

Education/Training:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, business or related field required.

Skills/Capabilities/Technical:
• Strong skills in computerized accounting systems and spreadsheets and reporting tools.  Familiarity with Expocad a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills.
• Problem solving skills.  Ability to reconcile and resolve accounts/transactions.
• Attention to detail.
