My client, a well-established elite hedge fund, is looking for a Trading Assistant/ Trader Assistant to be based in Hong Kong as part of their APAC expansion plan.
My client’s corporate culture is quite westernized and the person that will succeed in the role will be someone who is proactive and has experienced working in an investment bank/ hedge fund/ asset management firm.
The successful candidate will also need to have trade support/ assistance experience, ideally within Equity Derivatives (listed and OTC). You will need to have solid Excel/ VBA skills and be able to deal with a high volume of trades in a meticulous manner.
Ideal profile:
- 2-5 years of work experience
- At least 2 years of trade support/ assistance experience
- Excellent educational background
- Excellent communication skills
- Excel/ VBA skills
- Strong knowledge around Equity Derivatives/ Listed Derivatives/ OTC/ Index Derivatives
