My client, a privately owned steel trading house based in Mayfair London is looking to add a senior trader to the well established London team.
Key responsibilities:
• Being part of an expanding global Steel trading business.
• Deepening knowledge of the European and global long products market.
• Trading a steel book within global markets.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships.
• Keep abreast of competitor activity. Provide senior management information with regard to market potential and trends.
Skills / Attributes required for Responsibilities
• To trade steel, and contribute to a successful steel team.
• Minimum of 10 years experience with Steel long products
• Good demonstrable knowledge and understanding of other steel products including; flat products, HRC, finished etc
• Excellent existing contacts in the Steel trading space.
• Ideally based in Europe already as the role will be seated in the U.K.
• Any knowledge of languages would be a bonus
