Overview:
Asset Finance desk is responsible for sourcing, trading, structuring, arranging and executing asset backed investments. The desk provides financing on recourse or non recourse basis against a variety of assets for Financial Institution Groups (FIG) and corporate clients. The desk also makes principal investments in the context of restructurings and/or distressed situations in corporates that are backed by hard assets (such as real estate and infrastructure).
The role involves supporting asset backed financing/ restructuring (Europe) across the deal cycle: from pitching to deal execution including syndication.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing screeners, corporate/ portfolio analysis and assessing financing opportunities.
Forming credit opinions through secondary research.
Preparing pitches/ draft term sheet.
Developing and maintaining complex financial models.
Facilitating the rating process.
Facilitating the due diligence and credit approval process.
Facilitating the deal structuring including documentation.
You will have:
Strong technical and quantitative academic background from a top tier business school
Knowledge of finance (preferred though not a pre-requisite).
