Overview:
Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) comprises three businesses: Corporate Finance, Markets and Global Transaction Banking and includes regional coverage in the Bank's key growth areas.

CIB Markets in Birmingham is looking for Trading Support for its European Credit Trading (EUCT) team.

Deutsche Bank Global Credit (GC) makes markets in the full range of credit products including bonds, credit derivatives and structured credit products. Our unique approach and integrated business structure facilitate the design of truly innovative solutions, creating a world leading credit business across flow, structured, long-dated and illiquid assets.

Key Responsibilities:
You will support the senior traders to reduce Risk and Profit and Loss (P/L) impact of incorrect trade bookings and incorrect static data
Reconciliation reporting and trade instruction generation
Data collection, spreadsheet maintenance, small scale data-basing
Trade booking reconciliation - tracking amends and chasing Finance/Middle Office to correct tickets
Set-up and maintenance of static data for bonds and Credit Default Swap (CDS) for the desk as a whole
Automation of processes and systems improvement to enhance efficiency

You will have:
A strong finance/ IT/mathematics background through relevant undergraduate studies (or relevant international equivalent)
Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills - must have ability to write Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) for Excel, interface through VBA with HTML/Outlook/Word/internal databases and build small scale databases within excel, automate the creation of reports and the collation of data
Settlements/Middle office experience will be an advantage
Keen understanding and interest in Finance and Markets
Superior communication skills (written and verbal) with strict attention to detail
